Huawei Nova 2s With 6-Inch Bezel-Less Display

Huawei Nova 2s was launched at an event held in China on Thursday. The smartphone is Huawei’s latest mid-range offering and comes with up to 6GB RAM, bears a 6-inch 18:9 bezel-less display, and sports four cameras.

The Huawei Nova 2s will be offered in two variants - 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM - priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 26,300) and CNY 2,999 (Rs. 29,300) respectively. Huawei has also released a special edition 'Yixing Zhang' variant of the phone priced at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 33,100).

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Nova 2s runs EMUI 8.0-based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It has a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display with a pixel density of 402ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

The Huawei Nova 2s has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 16-megapixel RGB sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, and one 20-megapixel monochrome sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an aperture of f/1.8. On the front, the Nova 2s comes with a wide-angle 20-megapixel lens and another 2-megapixel camera for portrait selfies. There are four cameras on this smartphone.

As we mentioned, the Huawei Nova 2s has 128GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi among others. There is also a 3340mAh non-removable battery powering the internals. The Nova 2s has a premium chassis made out of metal and glass and its weight is 169 grams.

Essential Phone, which went on sale a few months ago, has received a permanent price cut of $200.

"We want to make it even easier for you to experience our products and our brand. So starting today we're offering Essential Phone for $499 on Essential.com," the company said in a blog post.
"And to thank our early supporters who already own an Essential Phone, we're offering a $200 friends and family code to use on our website towards Essential 360 Camera or another Essential Phone," the blog post added.
The Essential Phone went on sale a few months ago. But the company believes that as a young startup just getting out therein a market where incumbents like Apple and Samsung take up all the available space, there's a lot of value in word of mouth and perceived value, according to TechCrunch.
The Essential Phone was introduced in May and the company had promised a June release.


However, the shipping was delayed and the company said the phone was finally available for purchase from its own website and retail partners much later.
The phone features an edge-to-edge display and a modular system that lets users attach accessories such as a 360-degree camera.
Essential Phone sports a 5.7-inch LTPS display with 19:10 aspect ratio instead of the regular 16:9.
It features dual primary cameras with two 13MP sensors. One is a standard RGB sensor while the other is monochrome.
The phone is made of titanium and it has a ceramic back that gives it added protection if dropped.
The device is powered by a 2.45 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset clubbed with Adreno 540 GPU.
It features 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory which is non-expandable.
Along with the phone, Essential is also developing a smart home hub.

मंहगी कीमतों पर बेज़ल लेस स्क्रीन स्मार्टफोन ला रही कंपनियों के बीच इंडियन निर्माता माइक्रोमैक्स ने कम बजट में बेज़ल लेस डिसप्ले वाला कैनवस इनफिनिटी पेश किया था। अगस्त में लॉन्च हुए इस फोन ने अपनी कम कीमत और आर्कषक डिसप्ले के चलते स्मार्टफोन यूजर्स का ध्यान खींचा था। वहीं अब माइक्रोमैक्स इनफिनिटी सीरीज़ के आगामी स्मार्टफोन की जानकारी भी सामनें आ गई है। इस लीक में माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस इनफिनिटी प्रो का बॉक्स सामनें आया है जिससे फोन की स्पेसिफिकेशन्स की जानकारी मिली है।

मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस इनफिनिटी प्रो भी बेज़ल लेस स्क्रीन पर पेश किया जाएगा। लीक हुए फोन के बॉक्स से पता चला है कि यह फोन 18:9 बॉडी रेशियो पर बना होगा तथा इसमें 1440×720 पिक्सल रेज्ल्यूशन वाली 5.7-इंच की एचडी आईपीएस स्क्रीन दी जाएगी।

मोबाईल बॉक्स और उस पर दी गई फोन की डिसप्ले संबंधी जानकारी के अलावा इनफिनिटी प्रो की स्पेसिफिकेशन्स को लेकर कोई खास जानकारी नहीं मिली है लेकिन कुछ लीक्स के आधार पर माना जा रहा है कि इस फोन में डुअल सेल्फी कैमरा देखने को मिलेगा। इस फोन के फ्रंट पैनल पर कोई भी फिजिकल बटन नहीं होगा तथा रियर कैमरे के साथ बैक पैनल पर ही फिंगरप्रिंट सेंसर देखने को मिल सकता है।
फोन का बॉक्स सामनें आने के बाद माना जा रहा है कि कंपनी जल्द ही इस फोन की घोषणा आधिकारिक रूप से भी कर सकती है। वहीं कीमत की बात करें तो लीक के अनुसार माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस इनफिनिटी प्रो को तकरीबन 15,000 रुपये तक की कीमत पर लॉन्च किया जा सकता है।
